  • Examine drawings and specifications to determine the most cost effective and appropriate construction methods

  • Determine and coordinate trade and labour requirements

  • Prepare and submit budget cost estimates and implement effective cost tracking reports to you

  • Implement strategy and programme of work, using construction management software in order to achieve smooth work flow

  • Identify risks to the programme and plan to mitigate against and prevent any problems before they occur

  • Obtain all necessary permits and licences

  • We have a good working relationship with several local architects who we would be happy to recommend. Alternatively, we would be happy to work with your own choice of architect. If you would like to go down this latter route, we recommend talking to a few different ones to discover their approach to design and talk to their recent clients. It is important that the architect is aware of your budget.

  • For larger extension and refurbishment projects, consideration needs to be given as to whether you would like to remain in your home for the duration of the works. We would be happy to work with you to ascertain what is feasible and what is best for you.
