At Cocovini Construction, we strongly advise the use of the JCT contract (Joint Contracts Tribunal). JCT produces standard forms of contract for construction, guidance notes and other standard documentation for use in the construction industry in the United Kingdom. This will give you peace of mind. It is also advocated by the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). We also have our own contract should you wish to use that.
